LITTLE ROCK (6-9) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Fayetteville to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 112 ( Garland Avenue ), according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 19^th, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church , 1021 W. Sycamore Street, in Fayetteville .

     Plans call for widening .75 miles of Highway 112 ( Garland Avenue ) to five lanes.  The improvements would begin at the Highway 112 Spur (Wedington Drive) and extend northward.
